An appendix and a tender mercy

What a week! On wednesday night my sweet logan lovebug was feeling really so sick. He threw up at least 10 times throughout the night, it was heartbreaking. Nothing was making him feel better, the poor guy couldn't even stand up straight. His dad and brother came over in the morning and gave him a blessing - right after the blessing Logan started feeling extremely sharp pain near his appendix, so off to urgent care we went! They took forever there, and said it was probably appendicitis but we needed to go to the ER to find out for sure with a ct scan. We got to ER and they were super quick to do everything and sure enough, his appendix was looking pretty ugly and was in need of an emergency appendectomy. They got him into surgery that night, and took care of that nasty little thing that made me lovebug feel oh so sick. He stayed in the hospital one night, and is feeling so much better. Only thing is, he can't lift anything right now, including our sweet baby boy. Doc said I could hand him to him, which would be fine but Lando is kind of a spaz lately and kicks your tummy alot, so thats a no go for logan. SO the last few nights landon hasn't been sleeping great because he has a little cold. We're talking waking up at 12am, 3am, 6am then he's up for the day. haha its been rough. Well last night he woke up at 2am, and ate and then was back asleep by 2:15. He woke up (not crying, just making silly noises and talking) again at 6:15.. i thought "well thats not too bad" I go into the kitchen before I picked him up to make his bottle. I got in there and realized that it was actually 5:15.. I wanted to cry. I was so tired. I finished up with the bottle, and then all the sudden Landon was silent, he fell back asleep! I think he was talking in his sleep :) Sweet little guy stayed asleep until 7. it was lovely, and I said a prayer of gratitude right there in the hallway. I woke up feeling refreshed and so did my sweet baby.
