Hello World, Landon Is ONE!

My sweet boy turned 1 a few weeks ago! SERIOUSLY? Did that really happen? To me, he's still the 6lb 8oz teeny tiny baby who loves to snuggle and sleep all day. Only he's not, AT ALL. He rarely snuggles, and surely does not sleep all day. He does however, eat cake like a champ. I have never seen a one year old eat cake the way Landon did at his birthday party. See pictures here. I enjoyed it, and I'm certain he did as well. Other things Landon does these days

-Walks, only walks- you will never see his silly crab walk again. Sad..

-Loves sharing water with dad, out of a big boy cup.

-Eats only people food now, no more baby pureed nonsense.

-Sleeps alll night long.. 12 hours most days, some days we get really lucky and its 13 full hours! I almost forget what it was like waking up every hour with him.. almost..

-He loves to be outside, and when we are at the Moore's he screams at the door until someone takes him outside to play.

-He has a big ottoman full of toys and he pulls out the same 3 things every day: a football, basketball, and baseball bat. Logan much?

-He takes a nap every day about an hour after he wakes up in the morning.  (I know.. I'm so lucky! Not to mention he still takes 2 more throughout the day after that)

-He follows cousins emmy, and ava around wherever they go. He gets the biggest kick out of them. I love love love seeing them together.

-He is extremely active, sitting through sacrament meething? No way. It doesnt matter how many books, toys, snacks, etc I bring for him, he refuses to stay in one place..I've found I get more out the meeting whem I'm in the foyer and Lando can run, so I just listen from the couch :)

-Whenever 'enchanted' by Taylor Swift comes on he does this darling hand wave, booty bounce dance that kills me... its one of the funnier things I've seen in my life.

I know there are a million other things I want to remember about Landon at this age, I just cant think of them all at the moment. He's such a blast to play with, and sometimes I just have to look at him and laugh when he's being a booger, or else I might have a breakdown. He's the most challenging and rewarding thing in my life, I love him to pieces :)
